Currently--April 2015

This is my first Currently. I was having so much fun reading the different posts. I think I left everybody a comment. . . not really, but I did leave a lot :)

As I write this, I'm listening to Southern Charm--another reality show--on Bravo. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why I like this stuff!

The weather in perfect! I'm hard to please. I'm either too hot or too cold. Today is perfect!

We go back to school tomorrow. I think I'm ready. The waking up at 5:30 is putting me off, though. That reminds me, I need to turn my alarm on. . . done!

I bought the ingredients for sugar cookies a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't made them. I use the Mrs. Field's recipe and it has been the best so far. Yum! They're so good. The last time I made some was for a bake sale fundraiser. I only ate a couple. Not only did I donate my time, I donated some cookies I really wanted to eat :)

Next weekend  I'll be co-hosting a baby shower for a good friend. I took on the responsibility of coming up with the games. I have two in mind. One involves play dough.

And finally. . . Made with Love. . .I am passionate about making my lessons engaging and accessible for all of  my students. Therefore, each lesson is made with love.

Head on over to Oh Boy Fourth Grade with Farley to read some more!

  1. Hi Stacy,
Your blog is SO cute! And I must admit, your cookies look amazing! I wish I had more time to bake... Good luck returning to school. I had a VERY difficult time waking up this morning.

    1. Thanks, Holly! If only school started an hour later. It would be so much easier :)

  2. I REALLY do not need any more reality shows to watch but I'm intrigued now to check out Southern Charm. My excuse is that I live overseas and it's like a little piece of home when I watch some reality TV.

Welcome to Currently! I hope to see you next month.

  4. I to am a BRAVO fan, it's the drama that always pulls me in. I DVRed the RHONY premiere last night and can't wait to watch it after school. Sugar cookies sound great right now. I gave up sweets for Lent and I feel like I've been making up for lost time this week. ;) Good luck planning the baby shower, those are always fun! I bet your games will turn out great.
